Investing in ag's Future

THANKS to our Platinum Partner, Fairfax Agricultural Media (formerly Rural Press), one member of the Future Farmers Network (FFN) will be fortunate enough to take up a scholarship on the Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP) – an opportunity valued at over $55,000.

The ARLP is run by the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation. This iconic program is designed to develop informed, capable and ethical leaders who can work collaboratively to advance the interests of their industries, communities and rural Australia in general.

FFN chair Georgie Aley said, “FFN believes in a strong and vibrant agricultural industry that is shaped by engaged and committed leaders.”

“FFN is proud to facilitate the development of our current and future industry leaders through encouraging our members to apply for the Australian Rural Leadership Program scholarship which is funded by Fairfax Regional Media.”

The 17-month ARLP program improves the capacity of leaders to develop their skills and understanding so that they can contribute more effectively within their community, sector or industry, in the political arena or in program development and implementation.

If you have a commitment to rural Australia and want to invest in the FUTURE of Agriculture, FFN encourages you to put in an expression of interest in this opportunity.

  • If interested please contact Annabelle Woods, FFN Executive Officer via Expressions of Interest close on Friday the 31st of May 2013.
