Jamie: Where will we find our workforce?

The issue: What do you see as the big challenges facing agriculture?

I SEE three big challenges ahead.

One, retaining and attracting a skilled work force.

Two, making our land and businesses sustainable enough that young people are attracted to agriculture.

Three, having more input into policy and regulatory control bodies in agriculture.

We also need to reduce the great divide which is the gap between city and country people.
