Tom: Producing more from less the big challenge

The issue: What do you see as the big challenges and opportunities facing agriculture?

AGRICULTURE'S greatest challenge over the coming years to me I believe will be to produce more food and fibre with less inputs while still remaining profitable in an increasingly volatile market place.

Our greatest opportunity going forward is our ability to access information from across the world on innovation and improving farming practices that once was very difficult to find.

Most importantly it will be using this information to improve what we are doing within our own businesses here.
