A fresh start to the year in Perth

Perth is expecting a cooler evening for New Years, after the stifling temperatures of this week.

Over the past week temperatures have even reached a whopping 49 degrees in Learmonth and 48 degrees in Marble Bar.

Perth is expecting a fresh start to the year with a top of only 28 degrees, 1 below average.

Unfortunately those hoping for clear skies are unlikely to be happy as clouds are expected to put a lid on the festivities.
