A healthy entry list of 155 horse/rider combinations entered the Australian Stock Horse Society State Championships in Dardanup on the 18th - 20th March, 2016.
The Annual Show was an opportunity for WA Stock Horse Breeders to showcase their horses and skills in a wide range of events from dressage, led events to futurity, maturity, pleasure ridden, hack classes, polocrosse, the popular time trials, novelties and campdraft events. Horses and riders came from as far as Geraldton in the north, Newdegate in the East and Narrikup in the South.
The branch committee, catering staff, sponsors and helpers combined to make a great weekend of horse sport action.
Judges for the event were Cameron and Kate Jones, Gunnedah, NSW, who assessed a high standard of stock horses in all sections. Whilst being won over by the beautiful south west weather and hospitality.
