THE State Government has granted $60, 000 to fund a development project into WA's organic and biodynamic industry, to encourage, promote and support the sustainable development of agriculture in the state's south.

The grant comes from the WA Regional Initiatives Scheme, part of a $75 million Regional Investment Fund supporting economic diversity and sustainable development in regional areas of WA.

Focussing on the South-West, Peel and Great Southern regions, the funding will enable the employment of a business development officer and industry development officer to provide advisory services to the industry.
