THE Western Australian Farmers Federation is part of the Country Alliance that has been established to co-ordinate opposition to the State Government's discriminatory rural election reform legislation when it is examined by the Supreme Court.

WAFarmers joins the Liberal Party, National Party and One Nation Party, as well as the Pastoralists and Graziers Association and the Central South Regional Council in forming this alliance.

All Western Australians are being called on to support the Country Alliance.

WAFarmers president Colin Nicholl is pictured at a press conference held last Thursday at Parliament House to outline the Country Alliance's position and what it hopes to achieve for rural WA.
