THE Australian Association of Agricultural Consultants WA (AAAC) has a new president.

MarketAg director Richard Vincent has taken on the role replacing Agvise founder Shane Sander.

Mr Vincent was elected following the organisation's recent annual general meeting.

Mr Vincent is also a director of ConsultAg and Grain Market and has a strong interest in the family farm at Cadoux.

AAAC is a professional body which represents practicing consultants throughout WA.

Mr Vincent was also part of more than 40 AAAC members who recently took a trip to the Geraldton region to look at low, medium and high rainfall farming operations.

The tour visited farmers at Mullewa, Chapman Valley, Walkaway, and Yuna to look at some of the innovative practices in Integrated Weed Management, controlled traffic farming and perennial pastures.

The AAAC's Outlook Conference is also on next week, Friday, November 29 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

It is AAAC's flagship event for the agribusiness sector.
