CITY people stopped and stared in amazement last week as the Dowerin field days committee brought the bush to the big smoke.

Tractors, utes and trucks headed down St Georges Terrace in Perth and back up Riverside Drive in a parade that highlighted the value and importance of farming to the wider community.
