A MONTEREY heifer has been covered in glory at the recent Adelaide Royal Show.

She is Monterey Patience who was bought by Jill Fiebiger, Wyong Murray Grey stud, Penola, SA, at the Monterey sale at Kojonup in January for $2200 and who was sashed as the reserve junior champion Murray Grey female at Adelaide.

"At the sale I said she had good potential," a delighted Gary Buller said last week.

The heifer is a July calf and won her 12-14 month old class, then overcame the other three classes to be awarded the junior championship.

The heifer is out of Burnham Park Patience and by the influential Monterey Starlight.
