DUE to an extensive breeding program in the past few years, Narrogin Agricultural College will disperse part of its Limousin breeding herd in an on-property sale on Thursday, September 9. The purebred limousin cows are part of the Collegian Limousin stud, which has helped the stud reach such a high standard. Ten cows will be offered at the sale, including seven cows which have outstanding calves at foot, sired by White Lakes Quench, who was the Supreme exhibit at the 1997 National Show and sale in Wodonga. Five grade cows, three pure cows and two French pure cows will be offered, with all being pregnancy tested in calf to White Lakes Quench. The cows range from three to 10 years old and will have full EBV figures available on the day. The sale will be held under the Helmsman system, with inspection from 9am and the sale commencing at 10:30am.
