IT will be worth sticking around at the completion of the Mt Barker trade sale at Great Southern Regional Saleyards on Friday, December 16, as Primaries will offer a quality yarding of females.
In a special breeders sale, Primaries will be offering about 200 top quality mated heifers and cows from vendors in the region.
Primaries Lower Great Southern agent Rob Williams said the line-up would feature quality, sound cattle - worthy of buyer attention.
The genuine herd dispersals of Lower Great Southern beef producers DC & KJ Wright, Denmark and HP & J Webb, Narrikup, mean there will be several lines of consistent well-bred cattle available for purchase.
Due to a change of direction for the Wright family's cattle operation they will be the major vendors in the sale, offering both heifers and cows.
Featuring Naracoopa Simmental stud genetics and due to the plenty of feed on the ground in the Denmark area this season, the Wright family's line is in optimum condition.
The offering will start with a line of 18 Simmental and Simmental-Angus heifers (rising first calvers).
The heifers are PTIC to a low birthweight Naracoopa Simmental bull, due to calve between January 18 and March 1.
The Wrights will also offer several lines of PTIC cows, joined to Naracoopa Simmental bull and due to calve between January 18 and April 12.
The lines of cows include 50 Simmental and Simmental cross rising second to fourth calvers, 20 mixed age Simmental and Simmental cross cows, 20 Red Composite mixed age cows and 60 mixed age Angus cows.
"These cows are all in excellent order and come highly recommended," Mr Williams said.
William Bay Farm, Denmark, will also be offering a line of cows surplus to its requirements.
It will offer 10 Angus-Friesian first-cross mixed age cows, PTIC to a Naracoopa Simmental bull due to calve between January 29 and April 5.
Narrikup producers HP & J Webb offering will consist of 27 rising 2yo, Chargrey heifers, which are PTIC to a Murray Grey bull after running with the bull between May 10 and July 23, 2016.
Eight rising 3yo purebred Limousin PTIC heifers will be offered by JM & GE Tomlinson.
The heifers were depastured with a polled Limousin bull between April 13 and August 24, 2016.
And rounding out the offering is Powell Family Trust with 16 mature aged Murray Grey and Angus cows which are PTIC to Angus and Murray Grey bulls after running with them between April 15 and June 15, 2016.
