Latest WA grains research now available on video

30 May, 2011 03:24 PM

For the first time, videos of research presentations from the 2011 Agribusiness Crop Updates are available online.

Growers can view the presentations via the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) website at eos

The Western Australian video presentations cover topics including 2010 National Variety Trials (NVT) results; dry seeding; herbicide resistance and weed control; national changes to spray application and herbicide labelling regulations; Roundup Ready (RR) canola performance in 2010; insect control and insecticide resistance; and fungicide resistance.

Some presentations were lengthy in duration, so bandwidth capacities need to be considered when viewing.

The annual Agribusiness Crop Updates are supported by the WA Department of Agriculture and Food (DAFWA) and the GRDC, and coordinated by the Grains Industry Association of Western Australia (GIWA).
