IT is all systems go for Wally and Leigh Newman and their son Charlie at Newdegate.
The team is seeding 24 hours a day in a bid to get its 4300 hectare seeding program finished.
This year they are seeding 1500 hectares of Wandering and Bannister oats, 1300ha Mace wheat, 500ha Bonito and Stingray canola and 1000ha Fathom and LaTrobe barley.
Charlie said they started seeding in late April and were still going when the Farm Weekly stopped in last week.
“It is not looking too bad, considering how things are going for the rest of the State,” he said.
“Most of the crop had already come up and what is left should come up without a problem.”
