THE Harvey Beef team wrapped up the year, with a Christmas cocktail party in Fremantle last week.
Beef producers, transporters, backgrounders, lotfeeders, Minderoo Group staff and industry representatives joined together to celebrate the year.
Owners Andrew and Nicola Forrest, the Minderoo Group, joined the celebrations.
Mr Forrest reflected on the year and said although it had been a tough ride for industry, he was grateful for the support from WA.
"It has been tough to lift production and get the cattle right, but if we continue to invest we will win," he said.
He thanked the suppliers, customers, growers and lotfeeders for their efforts and said Australia needed to continue to work under one banner to progress in overseas markets.
