WORLD-class innovators and researchers are coming together for two days of agriculture technology and information sharing at the 2017 Southern Dirt Techspo in Katannning, from September 12-14.
This is an event with a difference.
Firstly, there is a premier conference featuring national and international speakers
There’s also a 14-hectare working farm, adjacent to the Katanning Recreation Centre, with several trial crops of a variety of new species and plots displaying future farming techniques.
There are no lifestyle stalls or salesman… the focus of Techspo is on in-field working demonstrations of everything from machinery and data innovation, to drones and droids.
It’s a jam packed event based on experiential learning to cover not only broadacre farming, but also livestock, genetics, horticulture, aquaculture and robotics.
