IT’S that time of the year again – when we are treated to another lamb campaign.

As Australia Day looms Meat and Livestock Australia rallies to provide us with another campaign to get us to eat lamb on January 26.

In the past they have treated us to Sam Kekovich in his Address to the Nation series and last year Richie Benaud urged us to not “lamb alone”.

This year brings Operation Boomerang.

While the ads are yet to be launched, a sneak treat popped up today – no doubt designed to get our taste buds salivating for more.

It runs with the tag line that while there are more than one million Australians abroad – “who are in serious danger of not being in Australia on Australia Day” Operation Boomerang would work to ensure that wouldn’t happen.
