The Beverley Redbacks have come together to raise funds for Lyme Disease.
The Beverley Redbacks have come together to raise funds for Lyme Disease.

RED and black are normally the colours seen around the Beverley Football Club on any given weekend.

But lime green will be the colour of the day on the August 4 match against Quairading.

The Beverley Football Club is hosting a Lyme Disease Awareness and Action day to raise the profile of a disease which affects a number of Beverley locals and countless Western Australians.

A corporate lunch will be held at the club and a box will also be available to watch the game in style.

Tickets are $100 and former Fremantle Dockers legend Paul Hasleby will be the guest of honour for the day.

All money raised will go to the Lyme Disease Association of Australia.

Corporate Box applications must be completed by August 2.

The more awareness the better, it is a horrific stealth infection that everyone bar the gvt believe is infecting us. If only my country dr knew about Lyme when I arrived in his office with a tick in my shoulder I wouldn't have a chronic infection now. Please help us!
