Bushfire burning in Padbury

RESIDENTS in south-eastern Padbury have been put on bushfire alert as a blaze burns near Pinnaroo.

The Fire and Emergency Services Authority said the fire started near Chadlington Drive and Fernwood Square, near Pinnaroo Valley memorial Park just before 1pm.

Some roads may be closed as fire and rescue volunteers work in the area.
