Kings of the Castle

THESE young sheep were pictured at Noradjuha in the Wimmera recently having a great old time frolicking up and down the piles of gypsum due to be spread over the paddocks in coming weeks.

However, they may not have just been enjoying a game of King of the Castle, but instead building up healthy bones.

Gypsum can be included in mineral supplement licks for livestock and provides animals with a valuable source of calcium and sulphur.

Whatever it is made of, the piles proved a big hit on a sunny autumn day for this mob.
