Wheatbelt man killed in farm incident

Just after 9:25pm last night police were called to a farm on Dale Kokeby Road, Kokeby (south of Beverley) in relation to a man that been involved in a workplace incident.

It appears the man was attempting to recover a bogged truck when he was struck by a tractor who was assisting in the recovery.

Despite CPR attempts by witnesses the 60 year old man from Northam died as a result of injuries he sustained.

St John Ambulance and DFES attended the scene.

Worksafe was advised and it will conduct an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
