AGCO will launch a new header soon, simply called IDEAL.
It will be available in three of AGCO’s core brands: Challenger, Fendt and Massey Ferguson and will debut at Agritechnica, Germany, in November.
The new combine will be launched into different markets in 2018.
IDEAL will be offered in three different models and available with tyres or tracks and in a ParaLevel version.
AGCO Australia marketing manager Mario Capetola said at this stage the company was awaiting confirmation on the arrival of the first two units into the country.
The plan is to run a comprehensive evaluation program throughout the country to ensure the optimum performance of the new models across the varying conditions of the up-coming harvest.
“Once the evaluation program is complete we may be able to secure a limited supply for the 2018 harvest through our dealer network, with increased volumes being available in 2019,” Mario said.
