First look at new Flexicoil air cart

FLEXICOIL offered WA farmers their first chance to see its new 40 series air cart at Dowerin last week. The 40 series is the next version of the company's 20 series tanks, with features including variable rate metering, an eight-inch auger for fast filling, and new stairways and safety platforms. The unit is expected to go on general sale in February/March next year, after being put through it paces in South Australia, Victoria and NSW during a South Australia Research and Development Institute trial last year. The cart, like the 20 series, will also have the option of an additional third tank to increase flexibility and provide the fertiliser blending option some farmers are seeking. As well as its air carts, Flexicoil had its host of tillage product on display, including the very popular 820 cultivator ÿ
