GALLAGHER's WA regional sales manager Craig Moynihan has been busy lately hosting part of his company's national Westonfence roadshow.
And last week at Dardanup he teamed up with Westonfence operations manager Duncan Abbey to demonstrate the range of Westonfence solutions for stock subdivision and feral animal exclusions and a few of the nifty Gallagher animal management products.
The Westonfence system uses a combination of insulated suspension posts and leaning offsets depending on stock and feral animals being controlled and is centred on the use of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) Insulated Suspension Posts (ISP's) and high tensile fastening clips.
The result is a strong electrified fence, designed to reduce the chance of faults and shorts with your choice of design to withstand sheep, cattle, horses, deer, wild dogs and pigs.
Westonfence is manufactured by family-owned Weston Fence Pty Ltd in Parkes, New South Wales, where in 1992, Peter Weston first began developing the idea.
He has been operating by word of mouth throughout Australia until Gallagher was given the national distributing rights.
