NEW Holland has added more muscle to its broadacre range with the release last week of two new tractors and a large hay baler range.

It is the third major product release by the company in two years completing a plan by New Holland to update its entire product range.

According to the company¹s Australian general manager John Payne New Holland has never had a better range of products available to the agricultural industry.

³The past 24 months has seen the integration of new technology with improved design to produce products that combine better productivity with cost efficiency,² Mr Payne said.

³And we¹re making sure our dealers are right up to speed with these products.

³That was the reason for the regional launches throughout Australia so that we could give in-depth training to our dealers and their service technicians.²

The company has targeted its major tractor market (75-100kW, 130-135hp) with the release of an entirely new TS-A tractor, while keeping high horsepower owners happy with a new 373kW (500hp) TJ articulated four-wheel drive model.

³More than 40pc of our tractor unit sales are in the TS-A range,² Mr Payne said. ³This is our bread and butter model and we expect to win a high market share.²

The new TJ model also will keep New Holland up with the Joneses, especially as New Holland has big Flexi-Coil seeding rigs available.

The company also can expect to maintain it market leadership in hay, especially with the addition of the new BB-A range of large square balers.

The two model release replaces the popular BB range and come with a list of improvements.
