AWGA on attack

REBEL wool group the Australian Wool Growers Association (AWGA) is on the attack leading up to the November Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) board elections.

AWGA is accusing the current AWI board of being out of touch with circumstances facing the wool industry.

In a statement earlier this week, AWGA chairman Martin Oppenheimer said the AWI election in November could not come soon enough.

“Woolgrowers must get rid of the same old names that have done so much damage over the past five years,” he said.
