Agribuzz with David Leyonhjelm
Do you ever put up comments which don't entirely agree with you?
Since when is buying a business an investment for Australia or for its farmers. A promise of $200 million invested in fixing some rail - just a promise. Probably worthless in light of everything else Abbott/Hockey/Pyne are up to. Misheard their words comes to mind.
Ignorant farmers! Rubbish. Many have their own silos. I think they're a smart lot.
So what do you think of the Abbott government slashing foreign aid - to people. Red herring rubbish. Animal welfare is one thing - muddying the waters is a pathetic approach. Poor article.
The only mandate is the mandate to form government. The idea that it applied to policies was ditched long ago. The budget is the worst ever and it is lucky that the very worst bits have not been passed. CEOs are crying crocodile tears.
To against state owned fi: It is about what Joel Fitzgibbon said and he expressed sympathy but not support for your version of your thoughts on Paul Howes. the Libs treat their National partners with contempt if you look at reality. Hands on is good indeed but many farmers do not have a succession plan and those that do will often have children who have greater up-to-date ag education and new ideas to remain competitive and profitable. Why spin nonsense political stuff on everything and get it wrong. Labor did more to reduce protectionism and regulation than the LNP ever dared to.
All but one comment here indicates that no one read this article. Couple of points - no government stops farmers from selling to anyone unless (at present) it is to a foreigner and worth more than $53 Million. Liberal and Labor have subsidised the car industry. Lastly, what's wrong with offering more agricultural education opportunities?
Bandt was correct and also correct in saying so now. The party which politicised Climate Change is the Liberals who now want to abolish everything which stands to prevent increasing CO2 pollution and increasing temperatures. Those who keep repeating the lie that the Greens oppose fuel reduction burns (which they keep confusing with 'back burning' proving that they don't know what they are talking about) should be ashamed of themselves. What does telling lies achieve? Pointless blame-shifting which serves no purpose especially when it is plain wrong.
