Burrs under my saddle

Calling CO2 plant food doesn't prove anything. Water is essential to life, being deprived of water will kill you quickly. But you can die if you drink too much water - just because something is vital, doesn't means it's good in all circumstance. CO2 is the same. Then there's methane and NO2. Conversely, how would the planet be with no CO2 temperature wise (the corollary of it not having any real impact on temps).
Chick, science isn't a matter of belief, it's one of evidence. Belief is faith, which is not based on evidence or logic. A large percentage of Americans don't 'believe' in evolution. Some people don't believe smoking is harmful to health. Some people believe crystals will cure cancer. None of it is based on evidence. Just because you find the evidence uncomfortable or confronting, doesn't mean it's not accurate.

Noosa, a nothing comment with nothing to back it up. Normal variations have an equal number of deviations from the average both higher and lower. When the vast majority of deviations from the average are above average, it is definitely not normal. Statistics 101.
How is this a report card? A bunch of politicians being quoted about themselves and their opposite numbers. I don't see any independent analysis.
