Out of the shadow
I eat hemp seeds dail for it health benefits. It's tasty and full of omega oils and nutrients lacking in our depleted western diets. The psychoactive THC is only activated if heated. Australian are not using this plant for the correct reasons. This is a medical miracle and needs to be used in agriculture as it is a wonderful crop for farmers to grow. The law is doing very sick children a disservice as the oils are wonderful for epliepsy, cancer and ADHD etc.... It a wonder herb that is wasted.
Oh yes Jock he is serious all right. Because these are the facts in WA of which you are in denial because of you being consumed by your discredited ideology.
Size does not matter. The call for majority rule is not correct. PGA has every right to voice its concerns on agricultural issues. Without a diverson of voices on issues we would be very bland. Just because we are all in the same business does not mean we should all be alike. PGA is a good organisation with sound thinking and principles don't shoot the messenger because you do not like the message.
Bazza your ideas remind me of the single desk debate where you would be claiming that multiple buyers would bid the price down. Your outrageous presumption that these commentators are desperate just shows your ignorance. How about proving with tangible evidence that there is value to shareholders. It can't be done. Equity of a real value in the hands of shareholders will be far more valuable than a mythical attachment to the co-op, especially when that equity is assessed, as it was in 2000, on the basis of production history.
To all you corporitization nay sayers. The up country rreceival ability will remain, It will still own trains and S.E. Asian mills. It will be an energetic competitive participant in the WA grains logistic sector. Equity, in some instances potentially worth millions, will be released to existing grower shareholder balance sheets. Far more valuable than what you have now, almost religious belief that the co-op is providing value to you. Alternative- continue to love your co-op ideaology and walk away with a $2 cheque.
Congratulations to the new member for O'Connor. Good work Rick enjoy your time in Parliament.
Do not rely on the past move on and embrace the new competition. Give us lower charges and you may survive. Transfer the ownership to the cooperative members where it should rightfully be.
