Just think the Govt and NFF have had the chance to make a major improvement in food labelling. I may have it wrong , but think if it has the kanga and full gold bar" purely Australian", which I give a big tick. But after that we have no idea what other country is putting into say, a packet of frozen berries, but its been packaged here, so the bar will have a % Australian, but the product from country UNKNOWN.!!!!

ACCC time to take a stand. Producers just have to go to the saleyards and watch the price jump, when Primo attends a sale.What a shame one of the large Australian Super funds don't look into investing in the likes of Primo..

All I know is that if you enter a farm (no matter if your going to film or thieve) people will now have a way of trespassing by having a camera and if caught they can say,. they thought there were animal welfare issues there and so they were entering the premises just to film that.(yet were there for the intention of theft.

EC support is not going to fix the cattle market, which is one of the major reasons I feel that this drought is so tough. A lot of cattle would have been sold earlier if the prices had been better. The govt should be looking at why the low price farmers are getting is happening. I als think getting council rates, and land lease lowered would help a wide amount of producers, and keep every one on a more level playing field, as I feel some do milk the system when drought money is handed out, (overstocking, putting a large no of stock on in the good years then crying drought when dry times arriv
