Ok then DL...if you believe so strongly in such things, I expect you will already have handed back 10% of your pay. I'd be very interested to see the tax arrangements you and your businesses have; do you use family trusts etc, designed to 'minimise' your tax?,
Yes, there are many government handouts that should never have existed in the first place, but undoing them now is akin to trying to unscramble a political egg. We all know that the ALP and the LNP won't do that.
I suggest stop spending billions on flash military toys, it is posturing and does no good for the nation.
Every contention raised here in support of LE by DL is wrong and have been used many times before, he should do some research. Australians have deep concerns about this, which haven't just been implanted in their minds without them being able to reason for themselves.
DL is not the only 'vet' to have a deeply misguided view about what animal welfare is, my bet is he shares a vested interest, as do other pro LE vets.
I speak out about human rights issues; I have the right to speak out for animals too.
It seems to me that Rick Wilson should abstain from the vote since he is one of the people this legislation seeks to protect.
It's just as likely that someone who is totally unconnected with the anti live export movement is responsible for this. Honestly, you can make claims of stupidity etc, but any person spraying that message would have known it added a huge potential of supplying forensic evidence which could track down the culprit(s). This smells more like a set up to me, it's all too easy, and it wouldn't be the first time..
I understand there was a word or symbol used in the spray painted message in addition to 'Stop live exports. Does anyone know what that was?
