... it could be a goose, like ... For heavens sake Chick, this is my final comment on this. I am NOT a paid up member of NFF. NSW Farmers Assoc and RGA are paid up members. Any national issue I have, I now take it through either of those two organisations. And why did you see fit to put quotation marks around my words, proud member? I am so "end of story".
Correct Chick. I no longer have any formal role at NFF therefore any comments i make on issues are mine alone and not on behalf of the NFF (by the way Pete, that stands for National Farmers Federation, www.nff.org.au). I am a proud member of NSW Farmers Association and the Ricegrowers of Australia who are two of 27 member organisations of the NFF. Hope that clarifies your query.
Chick, let me make this very clear also. I am no longer involved with the NFF so the views expressed are my personal views.
Yes, we have met several times at various AWI meetings. And yes, you appeared to know who I was as I was the recipient of one of your gift packs that you distributed to certain wool growers leading up to an AWI Board election a few years ago.
Rob and Brad. I can assure you that your Draft PPP Bill was read and analysed at NFF. Has there been any reporting and critiquing done on it in the national media?
Chick, sadly you are the one out of touch and out of date. NFF membership extends beyond SFO's and includes many commodity organisations.
The first Blueprint forum last May attracted over 100 representatives from a wide range of organisations (some not members of NFF) interested in helping develop a "road map" for Australian agricultures future direction. With 130 people registered for this Thursday's second Forum, there is obviously a lot of interest to keep the process going. Not too late for you to register and be involved in a positive way Chick!
