Burrs under my saddle

Pete has articulated the problem and is providing one possible solution.
It is quite obvious me as it should be for anyone with above room temperature IQ that cares to think, that declining economic and social amenity in regional communities has been going on for a long time and the one constant in this is the National Party.
The Nationals continue to abuse regional communities with excuses for why they will not exercise there power and take some bark of the Liberal slave masters.
The other alternative for the Nationals is to drop the pretence and be the LNP.

If Julia had instead, spent the 50 billion for school buildings and 46 billion for the NBN on reducing carbon emmission how much better off we would be. That would have been a real and lasting investment in our children's future. That sort of money would have been the carrot that would have allowed for lasting structural change away thom fossil fuel. The stick Julia is holding is devisive and she and her cronies should know better. Leadership and vision require far more talent than our current crop of pollies.

The Baxter's have stood up through this storm with dignity and pride.
They have been made scapegoats by misinformed bullies.
Why don't the opponents to GM put up a real argument? Oh, wait science at every juncture has been proved. Argue real science not rhetoric and leave the Baxter's alone.
It occurs to me that the debate around GM is about ethics and ignorance not feeding and fuelling the world.
