Time for the industry to stop shifting blame on to everyone else and take responsibility for their actions. The State Govt, as far as I can see, has a responsibility to enforce State Animal Welfare Legislation, which covers animals in the live export chain (check ASEL - Aust Standards for the Export of Livestock).
So the minister was doing what she should and what the community expects.
We can all see industry dummy spitting - I think because their protection is gone and they are paying the price for a lack of accountability.
