No producer liked what they saw. That is what this is all about to producers- FIXING the issue and ensuring this doesn't happen again- the same goal as AA RSPCA and all other organisations working to ban LE. The industry is looking for a plan B, but needs public support so there is time to find a economically viable solution that ensures animal welfare-eg not an instant ban. The public needs to know how high Australian welfare standards are and the fantastic work farmers are doing- and that they do CARE about their animals, and none supported what happened on Awassi.
