Grain of Truth

Yes Blahblah...you have hit the nail on the head.
Why do farmers cling on to the single desk. It's gone forever. Move on and stop being so bitter.

"tired of rubbish"....a lot of Indonesians dont have refrigeration. They buy meat daily. Boxed meat wont suit this market.

Agribusiness

Oh for crying out load. People are fat becasue its easier to get chinese takaway, drive though a Maccas or throw a frozen dinner in the microwave. They dont know where their food comes from, most dont even know what real food is, how its grown or whats in it. Children are fat because parents couldnt be bothered.

Climate changes...always has done...always will. Scientist can 'model' all they like but I don’t believe they actually know what will happen in the future. The earth was once warmer just as it was once colder. Its all a guessing game.

Future consignments from this exporter will be closely scrutinised??? Why is this importer even allowed to import at all??

Silver Foxes are domesticated and have been for many years, however, at 8k a pop I wouldnt get your knickers in a knot too much over this issue. Too much hysteria and not enough factual background reporting here.

Tigerdicky, perhaps you would have preferred Mr Abbott punch Riley’s lights out......I know I would have, but he did the right thing in not saying anything. One of the most shonky displays of so called Journalism I’ve seen. Utterly disgraceful..Riley should apologies to that fallen soldier’s poor family.

I guess the WTO wont mind being sued with their decision wipes out the apple industry.

I believe the plan has merit but the farmers who rely on the river MUST be heard. The MDBA and the Government cannot ignore them. They cannot be left with nothing...give them something to work with. Something realistic and what happened to the Australian fair go?

Cropping

Harry........No one will take you seriously if you call them bozos and wankers. Also, we don’t sell our product to consumers… food processors do and I understand they are required by law to label any GM ingredients included in that product. We don’t grow GM crops but I firmly believe in Farmers choice in what they grow…consumers choice in what they eat. If organic floats your boat then thats your choice and it is then the consumers choice to purchase organic products. But don’t go online and call farmers bozos and wankers just because YOU don’t agree with THEIR choices.

ggwagga...you make is sound like Mr Baxter went over to the neighbours property and deliberately threw a heap of GM canola seed around on purpose! You cant stop the spread of seed. It is not dictated by the boundries of a property.
