This year’s MAGS sale will mark a milestone year with its 21st Anniversary, to be held again at the Dalrymple saleyards in Charters Towers on the 11th of November.

The MAGS bull sale has grown to be one of the most prestigious sales in North Queensland, renowned for the continual performance of their bulls, both Lamont and Mungalla have invested heavily in the Droughtmaster breed over several years.

160 bulls will go under the Elders Stud Stock hammer, with a large proportion of polled & homozygous polled bulls. The sale will also see the first release of sons by the $100,000 2019 Droughtmaster National top bull, “Billabong Hendrix”.

The catalogue of bulls for 2022 will be the best in the sales history reflecting the investment in world class genetics, backed by strong cow lineage that has performed consistently over generations.

The Atkinson name has always been highly regarded by North Queensland and the Droughtmaster breed, the 21st Anniversary sale just adds another fantastic chapter to their commitment to the beef industry.
