Country racing greats come alive

But when it comes to their annual race meet, the tracks fast becomes a hive of action and activity.

It was business and leisure as usual on May 10-11, with the annual Gregory Downs Races and Kooroorinya Races attracting a good crowd at both locations on both days of racing.

These small country race meetings get into the heart and soul of the locals who attend - evident in the familiar faces year in and year out.
