URANDANGI publican Pam Forster as well as Marcus Leslie Skeggs, pleaded guilty in Mount Isa Magistrates Court this morning to one count of suspicion of stealing stock.
21 head of Brahman cross clean skins were seized from the Urandangi town common in July 2016.
After further investigation Forster and Skeggs were charged and issued a notice to appear in court on August 29.
Forster and Skeggs pleaded guilty today and were fined $6825 each.
Cloncurry Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad (SARCIS) detective sergeant, Liam Scanlan, said the owner of the cattle remained outstanding.
“As these cattle have no brand or identification, we are calling on information from the community to find their original owner,” Scanlan said.
“We are also unsure of the area in which the stock were stolen from.”
