AFGRI Equipment has appointed its former Carnamah branch manager Brad Forrester to take up similar duties at its Esperance branch.
Brad moved to Esperance last month with his wife Gemma and children Madison, Nathan and Bridget.
Their oldest daughter Elli has stayed in Carnamah to uphold the Forrester name at the dealership, which now spans four generations.
Elli has started in the parts department and is attending the AFGRI training academy at Moora TAFE.
Another appointment at the dealership has been promoting Morgan Eggers, a former heavy duty mechanic with the branch, to service manager.
He heads up a team of 15, including seven apprentices.
According to Morgan, it has been a relatively easy transition because he knows about 80pc of the branch’s customers, having worked on their machines for more than a decade.
Last week he was overseeing pre-deliveries and pre-season header checks.
“We like customers to get headers in straight after harvest while information is fresh in their mind about servicing,” he said.
“Then they can shed it with peace of mind that it’s harvest-ready for this year’s harvest.”
