WHAT is 'Mylk' and why are consumers buying it?
Nutritionist Anneline Padayachee, 'The Simple Scientist', is heading west this month to talk frankly about the value proposition between plant alternatives and dairy.
Dr Padayachee is the keynote speaker at the Dairy Innovation Day Pioneer Brand Products Gala Dinner at the Pemberton Sports Club on Thursday, May 16, courtesy of the WAFarmers Milk Fund.
Building on her popular presentation at the Australian Dairy Conference this year, Dr Padayachee will examine the nutritional value of 'milk versus mylk' while highlighting opportunities for dairy brand reinvention.
Dr Padayachee said she was looking forward to attending the entire Dairy Innovation Day and seeing Australian dairy real-time innovation in action.
"Milk is so much more than bones and teeth, it's white gold," Dr Padayachee said.
"I want to help attendees consider the value proposition of milk from a practical perspective and how they can address consumer needs and drivers."
Tickets to the dinner are $80 per person and can be purchased via westerndairy.com.au.
Pre-dinner drinks are sponsored by Brownes Dairy.
