Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) has been recognised as JCB Global Dealer of the Year at a recent dealer conference in Germany.
Held at JCB's new state-of-the-art facility, the conference gathered the top 50 dealers from across the globe to celebrate outstanding commitment to the industry and its customer base.
CEA chief executive officer Hylton Taylor said he was pleased to accept the award.
"It's a great honour to be recognised for all the hard work our team, and dealer network, have been able to do in challenging market conditions," he said.
"We pride ourselves on our focus to deliver value to our widespread customer base, providing an extensive product range suitable to the Australian market conditions and focusing on after-sales service and support."
JCB general manager sales for the Pacific region, Richard Myles, said criteria for the award included retail performance, parts and service training and support, as well as investment and development of the dealer network.
"The JCB Global Dealer of the Year Award was an opportunity for JCB to recognise dealers who represent all of the elements that make up a successful business," he said. "JCB would not be able to successfully grow without the continued hard work of CEA and our global dealer network and this is a great way for us to recognise their achievements."
Mr Taylor said CEA credits its success to a focus on delivering customer service.
"It's a really exciting time in our business," he said.
"The technology coming through and the capacity to service and support our customers will allow us to manage customers' expectations and machinery better than ever before."
Mr Taylor said CEA was moving to new headquarters which would further enhance its ability to service its customers.
