Eidsvold Livestock and Property held its annual Tony Haupt Memorial Show and Weaner Cattle Sale on Thursday.
There was a total yarding of 1492 head, with a good quality line-up of weaner steers and heifers.
The market was very strong, with heifers in the 200 - 300kg weight range topping at 418c/kg to return $1132/hd.
Judge Bill Burton, from Mort & Co, was impressed by the line-up of cattle and commented on how close it was between some of the pens, to come to the winning decision.

Sale Highlights:
Angus/Santa cross steers from Theodore sold for 448c/kg at 282kg returning $1263/hd. Crossbred steers from Abercorn sold for 424c/kg at 183kg returning $779/hd.
Brangus steers from Eidsvold sold for 438c/kg at 310kg returning $1358/hd. Santa cross steers from Mulgildie sold for 352c/kg at 450kg returning $1584/hd.
Charbray cross heifers from Yarrol sold for 390c/kg at 155kg returning $604/hd. Charbray cross heifers from Eidsvold sold for 418c/kg at 270kg returning $1132/hd.
Santa Gertrudis heifers from Mundubbera sold for 412c/kg at 258kg returning $1063/hd.
