"A good example of this is the Bullmax Post Driver.

"It is the lightest post driver on the market and is well balanced, designed with the engine on top of the gearbox.

"Interchangeable post guide heads mean it can be used for multiple posts and pipe.

"It also comes with a convenient carry case to store the machine with all the attachments."

After five years, Bullmax is keen to take the next step developing its business.

In early 2020, Bullmax approached Honda to become an OEM manufacturer, giving it a licence to use Honda engines to power its machines.

In May 2020, Honda approved Bullmax as an official OEM manufacturer and in July of the same year, the Bullmax Post Driver was tested by Honda Australia and certified to be powered by a Honda GX35 engine, backed by Honda Australia's three year warranty.

After this approval by Honda, Bullmax set up a factory, headed up by mechanical engineer and small engine specialist mechanic Darrell Hanns, in the regional NSW town of Boorowa.

"We set up an assembly plant to fit the Honda engines to our machines," Mr Grimshaw said.

"The plant is creating employment in the town and utilising local trades, transport and retail shops.

"The factory also offers service and repairs, spare parts, is a distribution centre and offers the opportunity for research and development."

The Bullmax Post Driver isn't the only machine in the Bullmax range to change to Honda power.

The One Man Earth Auger and the Two Man Earth Auger have both been tested and certified by Honda.

"The Bullmax range of earth augers is well established with over five years of experience," Mr Grimshaw said.

"The range now comes with the added reliability of being powered by Honda.

"They feature Honda GX35 and GX50 engines, increasing the appeal and serviceability of these useful machines.

"They each come with three different size auger bits, extension bar and cushioning device to save the extra expense of purchasing separate auger bits.

"All auger bits are fitted with replaceable blades."

The 30 Ton Log Splitter is another machine which has swapped to Honda power.

"The very first machine Bullmax produced in 2015 was a log splitter," Mr Grimshaw said.

"Since then, we have experimented with hydraulic and kinetic splitters of different sizes and capacity.

"With this experience and our association with Honda, we set about to build a machine that was suitable for the purpose of what a consumer would need.

"The BMLS-H30T features a Honda GX200 engine.

"It is not too big and not too small, but will split any log you would reasonably expect to split.

"It is very easy to move around by one person with a heavy duty jockey wheel.

"It has the fastest return cycle of all our competitors and features a large oil reserve to keep hydraulic oil cool.

"The BMLS-H30T has exceeded all our expectations.

"It ticks all the boxes for a customer wanting a high quality, reliable log splitter at an affordable price that does everything they need it to do and is easy and simple to operate.

"Log splitters are only available from select stores that are trained in assembly procedure and operation."
