KALAMUNDA Community Centre, tucked away in the trees of Hedley Jorgensen Park in the hills above Perth, proved an appropriate venue for the 2021 Western Australian Landcare Awards presentation.
About 160 landcarers came from across the State for the recent presentation which honoured the work of individuals, schools and young people, partnerships, community groups and farmers involved in caring for the land and coastal environment.
There were 27 nominations for the eight awards, with the winners announced in last week's Farm Weekly.
