NO topic was off limits at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) agriculture industry update last month.
Agricultural industry stakeholders, advocacy groups and local and State government representatives attended the get-together, mingling with one another while soaking up the views of the Swan River from the Aloft rooftop in Rivervale.
Agriculture and Food Minister Alannah MacTiernan and CBH Group acting chief executive Ben Macnamara provided updates on the opportunities and challenges before the industry and then joined fellow panelists, Regional Development Council chairwoman Rebecca Tomkinson and Ocean Grown Abalone managing director Brad Adams, to answer questions from the floor.
Farm Weekly journalist BREE SWIFT attended and took these pictures.
