THE Giles family's Quicksilver Charolais stud, Newdegate and Narrikup, will offer 11 quality Charolais bulls in this year's Nutrien Livestock Great Southern Blue Ribbon All Breeds Bull Sale.
The Giles are commercially focused in their stud operation and aim to breed well-muscled, easy-finishing, low birthweight, polled bulls and believe these traits are represented in their sale team.
They believe the bulls have grown out well and they are very proud of the line-up and are sure there will be something for everyone in the team.
Like all Quicksilver cattle, these bulls are tough and are ready and waiting to get the job done.
As Quicksilver cattle are born, bred and run in the Wheatbelt, the cattle are bred to tackle and perform in marginal areas and the challenging conditions it sometimes throws up.
Ten of the 11 bulls in the team are either polled or polled/scurred and all sale bulls have been well-handled.
The team consists of nine ET-bred bulls by three different AI sires - Silverstream Landis L179 (P) (one son), Elder's Blackjack 788B (P) (six sons) and Wakefield Jumble J526 (P/S) (R/F) (two sons).
The remaining two bulls are by homebred sire Quicksilver Prime Time P65 (P) (R/F).
All the bulls which will be offered by the stud are of sound structure and temperament and are guaranteed by the Giles.
The team has also been semen tested and have been scanned for eye muscle and fat cover.
All raw scan figures and up to date EBVs will be on display on sale day.
