PRODUCERS chasing quality Simmental bulls should look no further than the offering from the WA College of Agriculture, Denmark's Inlet Views stud at the Nutrien Livestock Great Southern Blue Ribbon Bull Sale.
In the sale the college will offer six traditional Simmental sires.
Featured in the team will be Inlet Views Reality R9.
At 22 months of age and weighing in at more than 850 kilograms, this soft young bull had plenty of success at local shows in 2021.
It was sashed the champion multi-breed junior bull at the Make Smoking History Wagin Woolarama in March.
Then in August, Reality R9 was sashed the junior and grand champion bull at Beverley.
At the Albany show in November it was sashed the champion junior European bull.
WA College of Agriculture, Denmark, farm manager Kevin Marshall said Reality R9 is a structurally correct bull with excellent legs and feet.
"He is long through the body and thick throughout," Mr Marshall said.
"With smooth shoulders and soft fleshy muscle this polled bull will complement any breeding program."
The AI-bred Reality R9 is sired by Glen Anthony
Y-Arta AYO2 (P).
Along with Reality R9, there will be another three Glen Anthony Y-Arta AYO2 sons in the team while the other two bulls on offer are AI sons of Bonnydale Kojak G004 (P).
Mr Marshall said there were several bulls among the line-up from very big long carcase types to more moderate smooth bulls.
All bulls on offer will be semen tested and vibrio vaccinated and EBVs are available on request.
