Cutting the Wagin Woolorama 50th anniversary cake were Wagin Agricultural Society (WAS) life members Malcolm Edward (left) and Maurie Becker, Wagin Woolorama president Paul Powell and fellow life member Ric McDonald, Wollaston, who officially opened the event.
WAGIN came alive last week for the town's annual Wagin Woolorama.
The 50th Woolorama was officially opened by Ric McDonald at a cocktail function at the showgrounds last Thursday night attended by committee members, sponsors, local dignitaries and volunteers.
Along with his brother-in-law Malcolm Edward, Mr McDonald instigated the move to an autumn time slot which brought with it the rebranding of the Wagin Show to the Wagin Woolorama 50 years ago.
