NETTA and sub-junior team fixtures came to an end on Saturday with the last fixtured games being played in terrific spirit.
Players are reminded that the netta and sub-junior wind-up will be held on grand final day on September 8 from 12-2pm in the function room of the Northam Recreation Centre.
This weekend, the Northam Netball Association will host this season’s semi-finals.
With some last-minute reshuffling of the ladder, competition will be fierce this weekend, with teams on the hunt for a grand final position.
The Northam Netball Association encourages all association members and families to support the finalists.
Games to be played this weekend will be in juniors, second semi-final Starz versus Strikers at 2pm and first semi-final Saints versus Development at 3.30pm.
In seniors, second semi-final Jetz versus Royals at 2pm and first semi-final Toodyay versus Tigers at 3.30pm.
In last weekend’s games in netta, Lion Cubs 10 defeated NPS 1 and Ladybirds 10 defeated Shooting Stars 2.
In sub-junior, Zappaz 34 defeated Lionesses 11, Pink Diamonds 47 defeated Lionettes 4 and Yirra Djindas 52 defeated Bullets 2.
In junior, Strikers 43 defeated Magpies 8, Toodyay Lions 42 defeated Mad Ogres 20, Starz 44 defeated Saints 29 and Development 74 defeated Rockets 3.
In senior, Royals 73 defeated Titans 24, Jetz 61 defeated Emeralds 32, Tigers 40 defeated Sapphires 35 and Toodyay 49 defeated Australs 36.
